3/18/2010 New York City

I clocked in 3 miles today, some while teaching a class all day and the rest walking around the city; mostly up and down the Times Square area.  It was a beautiful day in the city again, very warm. A light jacket is all that was needed. Our training was in a building right next door to Radio City Music Hall, but I didn't see any Rockettes.

After teaching all day and then getting back to the hotel, Heidi and I headed to the theater district to have dinner and attend the play Memphis. We had a great dinner and the play was wonderful. I was a bit dubious when a stand-in was playing the lead role, but I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. The music was excellent as was the story. If you ever get the chance, don't miss it. After the play and a bit more walking, in search of ice cream this time, we headed for one last memorable New York City activity, a carriage ride in Central Park. We had a great driver, it was a beautiful night, and a perfect ending to a quick stay in the city.
